What is a travel visa and types of visa
A visitor visa is a travel document or visa stamp required by many countries as well as your passport. The visa indicates that “a person is allowed to enter the territory for which the actual visa was issued, subject to the consent of an immigration officer at the time of actual entry.”

There are numerous categories of visas, covering anything from visitor visas to immigration visas, and every kind of visa has its own visa application procedure. As an example, someone who likes to go to a country to conduct business will need to make an application for a business visa, while an individual who wish to relocate to a country would apply for an immigration visa which will allow them to enter the country and remain there for a specified length of time while seeking citizenship or re

A traveller or visitor who intends to enter a foreign country normally should first get that country’s visa, that is put into the visitor's passport or a travel document issued by the traveller’s country of citizenship or residence.

International travellers coming from specific country could be permitted to taking a trip to a specific country without any visa if they meet the requirements for visa-free travel. The visa section of the country’s embassy can provide visa requirements, visa forms and travel advice for that country.

Obtaining a visitor visa means you can travel to a port of entry, airport or land border crossing, and request permission from the Immigration Office or Customs and Border Protection official to enter the country.

Take note: Aquiring a appropriate visa isn't going to guarantee entry to a country. It does show a consular officer at the local consulate or embassy overseas has established that you are eligible to seek entry for that specific purpose. Immigration officers at the port of entry are in control of admission of travellers to the country, for a given status and length of time. Immigration office of the country moreover has responsibility for immigration matters whilst you are present in the country

Visa Validity - The validity of a granted visa represents the dates that the visa is effective. For example, if a visa for India is valid for 30 days, you must arrive in India before that period of 30 days expires. You are only allowed to stay the maximum time allotted for stay in the country. Using India as an example, the default maximum stay is 30 days, which means you are only allowed to stay in China for 30 days, even if your visa validity is 90 days. Please note that different countries have different requirements and interpretations regarding visa validity and maximum stay.

Please note: In individual cases, you may be required to provide additional documents. Embassy rules and regulations can and do, very occationally change overnight. We accept no responsibilty for any such changes. Also, we regret that we cannot, under any circumstances, intercede or take responsibilty for any transaction initiated directly between an applicant and the embassy.
